Stacking Comrades is a game set in a fictional Eastern European setting in which they try to launch a rocket but they forgot to put the astronaut in the rocket. The player has to build a tower in order to get the astronaut in place however they ran all out of building materials building the rocket so that leaves only the left over materials.
The player is handed random objects and has to build a tower by dragging them onto each other. The game holds a sense of strategy since physics apply and the wind might blow over your tower as well, so trying to build a sturdy tower is the key to succes. As the player builds up the tower the difficulty increases as objects become more and more difficult to stack and the tower becomes more unstable.
During the making of this game I spent the first half of the project creating a general idea with the team after which I started on creating the core mechanics and the general gameplay feel. After most of that was done I spent the rest of my time on creating audio and doing voice recordings for the game.
